The Vivo V20 Pro 5G is a new Snapdragon 765G phone due to launch soon
Mid-range phones with the Snapdragon 765G processor have become popular this year: no Android OEM seems to be without at least one by now. There are signs that one such company, Vivo, may be preparing to bring another one to international markets soon.
It is said to be the Pro model of the V20 series, which is to be unveiled on September 24, 2020 to Asian markets such as Malaysia. Several rumors have suggested that it will have a 6.44-inch AMOLED FHD display, and (thanks to an alleged retail packaging leak) to have 8GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage.
This leak also indicates that it has a notch that accomodates dual selfie cameras, something not seen often in new phones any more. It may also have a 4000mAh battery with up to 33 watt (W) charging. Accordingly, it is very possible that this "V20 Pro" will be a rebranded S7, a 5G phone heretofore only available on the Chinese market.
This device is thought to be accompanied by a V20 and V20 SE on its launch. The latter is also rumored to have a 6.44 inch display; however, it may also have a 48MP main camera and the Snapdragon 665 SoC. Its leaks point to pale blue and black colorways, whereas the Pro version has been alleged snapped with a purplish gradient finish.
