The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has recently approved the Realme Watch S Pro ahead of its launch. This wearable will be a successor to this OEM's original Watch, although it has a round AMOLED display where the first generation was more of an Apple-mimic. Now, the same body, along with the EEC, NCC and NEMKO regulators, have also reportedly certified the Watch S.
This ostensible vanilla variant of its new series looks, according to some official schematics, much like its S Pro sibling. It has the same pattern of sensors seen in the other upcoming Realme wearable, suggesting that it, too, has a heart-rate monitor. Then again, it is not listed in the ring of spec highlights recorded as inscribed on the rear of its case.
This writing reveals that the Realme Watch S (or RMA207) is an IP68 device with a battery that charges at 5V/0.5A and has a capacity of 390mAh. This, then, may be the difference that gives the accompanying variant the Pro moniker: it is rated for 420mAh. These new smartwatches still lack an official launch date, however.
