Turtle Beach releases second-gen Stealth 700 and 600 headsets for the PS4/5 and Xbox
Turtle Beach has announced the release of a new generation of its Stealth 700 and 600 gamer headsets. These wireless accessories are known for their flip-to-mute mics, long-lasting wearer comfort, "crystal-clear" vocals and generally "powerful" sound, which, as the OEM asserts, are all carried into these fresh variants.
The Stealth 600 Gen 2's mic is described as larger compared to the Gen 1, and can also now fit perfectly to the side of the headset. It also has padded ear-cushions that can also adapt to the shape of a wearer's glasses. The headset also exhibits a preset button to easily call up a customized audio setting, as well as one to activate the Xbox's wireless audio.
The 600 Gen 2 also features Turtle Beach's patented Superhuman Hearing sound setting for its 50 millimeter (mm) drivers. The 700 Gen 2's speakers are the same size, although they are also enhanced with Nanoclear technology in this case. They are paired with Aerofit cooling gel-infused memory-foam ear cushions and a redesigned metallic headband.
This headset has a battery rated for up to 20 hours between charges, a "significant" improvement on the 700 Gen 1. Both headsets are available from now in SKUs compatible with the Xbox One/Series X/Series S or PlayStation 4 to 5. The Stealth 600 Gen 2s are priced at US$99.95 for either platform, whereas both forms of the Stealth 700 Gen 2 are $149.95 each. They can be found on turtlebeach.com or with select retailers.
