Turtle Beach announces a new, Arctic Camo version of its Recon 70 gaming headset

The multi-platform Recon 70 is the best headset option available for around US$40, according to its maker Turtle Beach at least. The company also offers a steadily-growing range of different colors and styles for the 70, the latest of which is a pale silver with camo earcups. This new Arctic Camo SKU is available from now.

Turtle Beach released the Recon 70 in 2019, and it has been the company's best-selling headset ever since. Accordingly, it has been updated with multiple new colors several times over now, such as the Recon 70 Midnight Red and the Green Camo. 

Its latest colorway is also Camo, but is Arctic this time. It contributes to Turtle Beach's ongoing crusade to provide a matching option for every gamer's set-up or style, even if they are on a budget. Nevertheless, the Arctic Camo Recon 70 headset has the same generous features and specs as the rest of its series.

They include 40mm drivers, housed in leatherette cups for comfort and a lightweight design. The OEM also asserts that its in-built flip-up mic has "crystal-clear" audio. It is also multi-platform thanks to its 3.5mm jack; therefore, it could be used with consoles, including the Nintendo Switch, as well as with PCs and even smartphones.
