Realme Narzo 20 Pro appears on Geekbench with a Helio G95; trades punches with the Helio G90T on the Redmi Note 8 Pro
Realme has released a bunch of devices already this month but apparently isn't planning to hit the brakes either. After launching the Realme 7, Realme 7 Pro, Realme X7, and Realme X7 Pro weeks ago, the company is set to debut a new set of devices in the Realme Narzo series.
One of the devices to be launched will be the Realme Narzo 20 Pro. It appears that the new Narzo lineup will offer gaming-oriented budget devices. The Narzo 20 Pro definitely appears to fit the bill, if its hardware as listed on Geekbench is anything to go by.
According to the Geekbench listing, the Realme Narzo 20 Pro will be powered by a MediaTek Helio G95. That chipset is MediaTek's current top-spec budget SoC, and actually debuted on the Realme 7. It's said to be a tad better than the Helio G90T that was on the Redmi Note 8 Pro. This benchmark proves otherwise, though, with scores of 493 and 1,633 in the single-core and multi-core tests respectively matching the Helio G90T.
A few weeks ago, Realme implied that the Helio G95 would outperform the Helio G90T but that doesn't seem to be the case. Redmi Note 8 Pro owners can rest easy with the knowledge that their phones still sport the most powerful Helio chipset.
According to tipster Mukul Sharma, the Realme Narzo 20 Pro will sport a quad-cam setup at the back comprised of a 48 MP GM1 sensor as the main camera, an ultra-wide-angle shooter, a macro shooter, and a retro lens—whatever that means. At the front of the phone will be a 16 MP camera.
