MediaTek's Helio G-series gained popularity with its impressive performance on the Redmi Note 8 Pro last year. Since then, the chipmaker has gone on to release several chipsets in the gaming-oriented lineup. The company has yet again launched a new offering—the Helio G95.
The Helio G95 is a successor to the Helio G90 that punched well above its weight class. The Helio G95 offers two high-performance ARM Cortex-A76 cores clocked at up to 2.05 GHz, aided by six Cortex-A55 cores. On the GPU side of things is also ARM's Mali-G76 MC4, clocked at up to 900 MHz.
Other important features include HDR10+ support, 720p video calling, support for FHD+ 90 Hz displays, support for a 64 MP main camera, and 4K30FPS video encoding and decoding.
The Helio G95 is expected to debut on the upcoming Realme. The Realme 7 will launch on September 3—tomorrow. Leaked benchmark scores show that the phone will outperform the Helio G90T on the Redmi Note 8 Pro.
