It turns out that the Poco X3 isn't the only smartphone that the company has in store for us. Poco's official Twitter handle teased the Poco M2 and set a September 8 release date, one day after the Poco X3's international reveal.
Not much is known about the Poco M2 at this point. Even the rumor mill has been mostly silent, with no mentions of a scaled-down version of the Poco M2 Pro. The device will be launched in India first and will remain exclusive to Flipkart. There's even a landing page that sheds some light on the device's features. More details about the phone can be found there tomorrow (September 3).
With so little information to go around, it is impossible to determine if the Poco has designed the Poco M2 from scratch. Considering that the Poco M2 Pro is Redmi Note 9 Pro with a fresh coat of paint, it is within the realm of possibilities that the Poco M2 is little more than a Redmi Note 9.
