Poco enthusiasts have been clamoring for a Poco F1 successor for a long time now, and at this point, it is unlikely that we'll ever see one. The Poco X3 didn't quite live up to the task due to its mid-range feature set. Poco has now announced that it will launch a new device -the Poco C3- on October 6 in India. It will likely be exclusive to Flipkart for some time before hitting other e-commerce platforms.
We first heard about the Poco C3 back in July, when it made an appearance in the Bluetooth SIG database. Rumor has it that it will be a Redmi 9C with a fresh coat of paint, and will likely be priced accordingly. While a low-cost Poco smartphone will be welcomed by many, die-hard fans of the franchise will undoubtedly be left disappointed by the release of yet another repackaged Redmi phone under the Poco brand.
As is the case with previous Poco releases, we can expect the Poco C3 to be marginally different than its equally-specced Redmi counterpart. Ideally, the device should also hit international shores shortly after its debut in India.
