Resurrection Remix has announced a new stable version of its custom ROM that is based on Android 10. Resurrection Remix 8.5.7 is now available to download for Xiaomi and Redmi devices, such as the Xiaomi Mi A2, Mi 9T, Redmi Note 7 Pro, Redmi Note 8, and Pocophone F1. The custom ROM can also be used with smartphones from other OEMs.

Smartphone users who like modifying their device of choice with custom ROMs will be pleased to hear that Resurrection Remix has developed a ROM that is now reportedly fully stable and based on the open-source code from Android 10. The new software package also brings security patches right up to date, as they come from August 2020.

Currently, Resurrection Remix 8.5.7 can be downloaded for these Xiaomi/Redmi smartphones (device codename in parenthesis):

The Resurrection Remix 8.5.7 downloads are organized by codename so make sure you select the correct link for your Xiaomi or Redmi smartphone (see “Sources” for download link). The Android 10-based custom ROM is also available for some Asus ZenFones, a couple of Google devices, some Motorola smartphones, various OnePlus devices, and the Samsung Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9+, and Galaxy Note 9 (see full list in drop-down box below).

Be sure to back up all your data and select the correct software package for your smartphone before attempting to flash the device. XDA Developers points out that these particular Resurrection Remix ROM builds also have Google Services apps included, which is an added time-saving bonus.
