Stable MIUI 12 update lands on the Mi Note 10 and Mi Note 10 Pro in Europe as update whereabouts offered for more Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7S handsets
MIUI 12 has reached the European editions of the Mi Note 10 and Mi Note 10 Pro. The devices, sold as the Mi CC9 Pro in some markets, are essentially identical, which explains why Xiaomi keeps them on the same build. The OS upgrade for European handsets follows equivalent ones for devices that have been enrolled on the Chinese and global branches of MIUI.
Xiaomi has called the inaugural MIUI 12 update for EU handsets V12.0.1.0.QFDEUXM and is issuing it as an over-the-air (OTA) upgrade. The update brings the Mi Note 10 and Mi Note 10 Pro Pro up from V11.1.2.0.QFDEUXM, which Xiaomi issued last month. Xiaomi typically updates devices in batches, so it may be a few days or weeks before V12.0.1.0.QFDEUXM reaches your handset. In the meantime, you can download the full update via the link below, which is hosted on Xiaomi's servers.

Separately, Xiaomi is apparently planning to upgrade more Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7S handsets to MIUI 12 within the next two weeks. The news comes from a moderator of the MIUI 12 Official Telegram channel, who apparently has some inside knowledge of Xiaomi's update schedule. According to the moderator, the global and Indian versions of the handsets are in line for MIUI 12, although Xiaomi has already started upgrading the latter variants. If the Chinese rollout is anything to go by, then the next round of updates for the Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7S should bring Android 10 to the two devices, not just MIUI 12.
