Xiaomi rolls out Android 10 to the Redmi Note 7 Pro in India as Mi Note 10 and Redmi Note 8 Pro receive new MIUI 12 upgrades
It has been less than two weeks since Xiaomi started upgrading some Redmi Note 7 Pro handsets to MIUI 12 in India. The update also contained Android 10, making V12.0.0.2.QFHINXM something of a double bonus for the Redmi Note 7 Pro. However, Xiaomi has now released V11.0.2.0.QFHINXM, an update that is based on Android 10 and MIUI 11.
V11.0.2.0.QFHINXM is a Beta Stable build for the time being, which means that Xiaomi is trialling the update on some handsets before it commences a wider rollout. We expect that this build will be short-lived and is a stopgap before Xiaomi finalises the Android 10 and MIUI 12 update for the Redmi Note 7 Pro. If you fancy trying V11.0.2.0.QFHINXM, then you can either flash it from within Settings or via a custom recovery like TWRP.
Separately, Xiaomi has expanded the rollout of MIUI 12 for the Mi Note 10 and Redmi Note 8 Pro. The OS upgrade has now reached the global version of the Mi Note 10 and the Indonesian edition of the Redmi Note 8 Pro. It would seem that the former is at the Beta Stable stage currently too, but you can download both builds via the links below.
- Redmi Note 7 Pro - V11.0.2.0.QFHINXM (2.1 GB)
- Redmi Note 8 Pro - V12.0.1.0.QGGIDXM (2.0 GB)
- Xiaomi Mi Note 10 - V12.0.1.0.QFDMIXM (2.7 GB)
