After sending out MIUI 12 beta updates to the Redmi Note 7 Pro in China, Xiaomi has now set its sights towards India—the only other region where the phone was sold. Yes, the MIUI 12 update is now rolling out to the Redmi Note 7 Pro in India.

Xiaomi sent out the MIUI 12 update to the Redmi Note 7 Pro in China a few weeks ago and began the beta testing in India. The company is now done with that, however, and is currently rolling out the much-awaited MIUI 12 update to the phone in India.

The MIUI 12 update for the Redmi Note 7 Pro arrives with the build number "MIUI 12.0.0.3 QFHINXM". It's a beta stable update, which means it will only be sent out randomly to some Redmi Note 7 Pro owners. If there are no notable complaints about the build, the full rollout will begin. That usually takes about a week, as long as there are no major issues.

The update delivers MIUI 12, and is based on Android 10, It also offers all the MIUI 12 features, although we expect the new Super Live Wallpaper feature to be missing, as Xiaomi intends to keep it exclusive to its flagship phones. The update weighs in at 2.1 GB.
