With the Mi Note 10 Lite, Xiaomi stays true to its core philosophy of creating powerful, yet affordable smartphones. Here, the "Lite" moniker undersells the device, however, since there is only one real difference between the mid-range smartphone and its high-end sibling, the Mi Note 10: The camera module.
As a result, the Mi Note 10 Lite, which has an MSRP of just 400 Euros (~$470) achieves great results in our tests. Instead of the Mi Note 10's 108-MP penta-camera, it only offers a 64-MP camera with four lenses, which is still quite a lot for a smartphone that is supposed to compete with other mid-range devices.
The image quality of the Xiaomi smartphone is convincing as well and the 64-MP camera can capture great shots in daylight. While the low-light performance is somewhat lacking, the Mi Note 10 Lite is far from being the only current mid-range smartphone with this drawback.
Other good features of the Mi Note 10 Lite include the octa-core Snapdragon 730G SoC, 6 GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and depending on the model, 64 GB or 128 GB of storage. Furthermore, it comes with an AMOLED display that managed to impress us during our review thanks to its high luminosity and its color accuracy, which was excellent ex-factory.
Users who are looking for a smartphone with long battery life also will not be disappointed by the Mi Note 10 Lite. Due to its 5260-mAh battery, the Xiaomi phone achieves outstanding runtimes. It lasts for almost 19 hours under a simluated web-browsing load and just below 24 hours while playing an H.264 video. Thus, at least one day, possibly even two days of use are feasible even when performing stressful tasks.
Our in-depth review offers more test results for a more detailed impression of the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite.
