Unlike its parent company Xiaomi, Poco has a more conservative approach towards smartphone releases. Poco releases are few and far between, and much easier to track compared to its parent company. However, the company has the nasty habit of slapping on a coat of paint on Redmi devices and calling it a day. There is now a Poco M3 in the works, according to the company's official Twitter handle.
The Poco M3 will be released globally on November 24. Mysmartprice happened to stumble upon the smartphone on Geekbench. The listing suggests that it will run a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC along with 4GB of RAM. Incidentally, the upcoming Redmi 10 is also expected to run the same hardware. The Poco M3, in all likelihood, is a repackaged Redmi 10 intended for global markets.
While the above speculation is solely based on Geekbench listings -which can easily be faked- Poco's horrible track record doesn't help the Poco M3's cause in the slightest. After all, its predecessor, the Poco M2, was a rebranded Redmi 9. It should come as no surprise if Xiaomi does the same thing again with the Poco M3.
