The highly-awaited successor to the Poco F1 -the Poco F2 Pro- is yet to hit the Indian shores. However, there appears to be another Poco device in the works called the Poco M2 Pro. There is ample evidence of the phone's existence as it has showed up in several leaks. We have something a bit more concrete this time around. A phone that appears to be the Poco M2 Pro has made an appearance on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website.
Prolific leaker Stufflistings spotted the Poco M2 Pro's BIS listing, signaling that the phone is almost ready for its Indian release. While the actual listing reveals little in the way of specifications, we know that the phone will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC.
Both the Poco X2 and Poco F2 Pro were rebranded Redmi K30 phones. Whether or not the Poco M2 Pro will go down that path remains to be seen. It can't be the Redmi Note 9 as it comes with a MediaTek Helio G85 SoC. We won't have to wait long to find out, as the phone will reportedly be unveiled in the next week or two.
