Expecting MIUI 12 for your Xiaomi, Redmi, or Poco phone? Not all devices will be getting the complete feature set; here's a list of which device gets what
Xiaomi's MIUI 12 has graced a few devices such as the Redmi K20 (Mi 9T), Redmi K20 Pro (Mi 9T Pro), and the Mi 9 while users of the Redmi Note 8 Pro, Redmi Note 7/7S/7 Pro, and Poco F1 can register as MIUI 12 beta testers. MIUI 12 brings a multitude of new features and improvements to the camera and adds some nifty multitasking features such as floating windows. However, not every Xiaomi device that will get MIUI 12 can take advantage of all these features.
MIUI 12 devices that will be getting the new camera features include:
1. Mi 10/Mi 10 Pro/Mi 10 Lite
2. Mi Note 10/Mi Note 10 Lite

A majority of these devices will be getting the added multitasking features such as floating windows and animated icons as well. However, there are some exceptions. The Redmi Note 6 Pro and Redmi 7A will not be getting floating windows and animated icons. Similarly, the Mi Max 3 will not be getting the new camera features.
Another MIUI 12 feature called Super Wallpapers will also be available to only a limited set of devices. These include:
1. Xiaomi Mi 10
2. Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro
3. Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite
4. Xiaomi Mi 9
5. Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro
6. Xiaomi Mi 8

That being said, it is possible to unofficially get a similar Super Wallpaper experience thanks to XDA Developer linuxct, who has ported the Super Earth and Super Mars live wallpapers as APKs that can be run on any device — even those with AOSP ROMs.
