Redmi Note 8 Pro, Redmi Note 7, Poco F1 owners can now register as MIUI 12 beta testers
Xiaomi unveiled the latest version of its skin, MIUI 12, about a month ago. The company split its rollout into two stages, and with the release of beta stable updates to the Redmi K20, Mi 9T, and Mi 9, is virtually done with the first stage. Xiaomi now appears to be set for the second stage of the MIUI 12 rollout.
Xiaomi has now opened up its beta program for MIUI 12. At the moment, the gates are open for owners of the Redmi Note 7, Poco F1, and Redmi Note 8 Pro. All three can lay claim to being one of Xiaomi's most popular offerings over the past couple of years and are present on the stage 2 rollout list.
Owners of the three phones can now enlist to be part of the beta program for MIUI 12. They will serve as beta testers and provide feedback on early experimental builds. There are, of course, a few requirements:
- Current ownership and usage of any of the listed phones
- Willingness to participate in beta forums and actively provide feedback and suggestions
- Experience with Xiaomi's flash tool, openness to communication with engineers, and tolerance for bugs and issues
- Ability to deal with failed flashing and updating
In simpler terms, don't get into this if you have no idea what it's about.
