The 11 activity modes the Xiaomi Mi Band 5 brings with it are: outdoor running, pool swimming, cycling, walking, treadmill, freestyle, indoor cycling, jump rope, yoga, elliptical, and rowing machine (exclusive Mi Band 5 modes not found on the Mi Band 4 are in bold). The differences in the prices between the Xiaomi Mi Band 5 and Mi Band 4, at least for the domestic Chinese market, are small enough to attract most customers to the newest fitness tracker from Xiaomi. The Xiaomi Mi Band 5 will go on sale in China on June 18, while the global variant known as the Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 5 is expected to arrive at some point in July.
