The Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 4C has been launched in Malaysia. The global version of the budget activity tracker has gone on sale there for 99 MYR (US$23). The Mi Smart Band 4C is basically a rebranded Redmi Band and offers users a heart-rate monitor, 5 ATM water resistance, and a 1.08-inch touchscreen.

The Malaysian webstore Shopee has started officially selling the Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 4C activity tracker, indicating that a wider global rollout of the wearable can be expected shortly. The retailer has the Mi Smart Band 4C up for sale at a very affordable price of 99 MYR (US$23). The Xiaomi smartband was also recently spotted in a brochure for the Mi Store Philippines.

The cheap activity tracker has a 1.08-inch touchscreen with up to 200 nits brightness and 128x220 resolution. A 130-mAh battery offers up to 14 days of battery life for the Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 4C and takes less than two hours to charge. The wearable includes five sports modes: outdoor running, general exercise, cycling, treadmill, and fast walking.

Along with the heart-rate monitor, the Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 4C has a message assistant, sleep monitor, step counter, calorie counter, Bluetooth connectivity, and it can connect with either Android (4.4 and above) or iOS (10 or above) devices. (The full specs can be accessed below the sources.) Shopee is selling the global variant of the Mi Smart Band 4C, which suggests an imminent wider release for the affordable activity tracker.
