Xiaomi sub-brand Poco has kicked back this year with the releases of the Poco X2 and Poco F2 Pro. Sadly, it would seem that the latter isn't on its way to India, at least not anytime soon.
General Manager of Poco India, C. Manmohan, has confirmed that the company has no plans of bringing the Poco F2 Pro to India for now. This isn't the first time the company has said such, and it implies that the Redmi K30 Pro —the phone upon which the Poco F2 Pro is based—could be officially launched in India soon.
The Poco M2 Pro is the phone Poco plans to launch in India, however. Word of the Poco M2 Pro surfaced a few weeks ago, and it was spotted on the BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) website a few days ago. The M2 Pro will be powered by a Snapdragon 720G. If it follows the footsteps of the Poco X2 and Poco F2 Pro, which were based on the Redmi K30 4G and Redmi K30 Pro respectively, it's likely that the Poco M2 Pro could just be a rebadged Redmi Note 9 Pro.
Lastly, C Manmohan confirmed that the upcoming Poco Pop Buds may just be rebadged variants of existing Xiaomi TWS earbuds. The Redmi Earbuds S was launched a month ago, and as such is the most likely candidate.
