The leaker Max J. has posted material that point to new TWS earbuds emanating from a company that is yet to contribute to this device category. It consists of teasers that, while un-watermarked or trademarked, do have many of the hallmarks of up-to-date OnePlus marketing images - one of them even contains the OEM staple of the standalone term "Soon".
They all show either a case typically used to store and charge TWS earbuds or these devices themselves. One also offers an approximate and (again) single-word hint as to when they will be unveiled ("July"). This juncture of 2020 may also see the launch of the long-anticipated Z, OnePlus' rumored comeback to the middle tier of the smartphone market.
Getting back to the accessories in question, it appears that the OEM is taking no risks whatsoever with its hypothetical foray into their market. Max J.'s latest post on the subject shows a pair of earbuds of the mini-hairdryer form factor in a round-ish charging enclosure, design choices that have been seen time and again at this point.
On that note, these earbuds' name may also fail to break the monotony that has recently gripped this space: they are the...OnePlus Buds. This particular aspect of the new leak is particularly disappointing, as their possible neckbud counterparts belong to a series with a more original name ("Bullets"), at least.
