Vivo just released a video teaser for the Vivo TWS Neo, an upcoming pair of moderately priced TWS earphones it plans to launch alongside its Vivo X50 smartphone lineup on June 1st.
The video gives us very little information about technical specs for the TWS Neo earphones. However, by the look of things, these appear to be AirPods clones. In a Weibo post, Vivo boasted that these TWS earphones have "low latency," implying that they're using a modern, high throughput Bluetooth standard like Bluetooth 5.0. The TWS Neo will likely cost less than Vivo's debut effort, the US$169 Vivo TWS.
The original Vivo TWS featured 14mm drivers, capacitive touch controls, and Bluetooth 5.0 support. We're interested to see what Vivo cuts back on with the TWS Neo, and how these earphones will be priced. Cost will be a key factor here, since upcoming TWS alternatives like the Realme Buds Air Neo cost just US$39.
