Days after rumors circulated that Vivo's upcoming X50 Pro will feature a Samsung ISOCELL GN1 50 MP image sensor, renders of the phone were spotted by tipster @UniverseIce. These appear to be our first look at at the massive GN1 sensor, set to deliver a great camera experience on the midrange Vivo smartphone.
The GN1 utilizes Tetracell pixel binning, similar to how the Samsung Galaxy S20's 108 MP sensor leverages Nonacell binning to deliver enhanced results in low-light conditions. The Huawei P40 Pro, a class-leading camera phone, also leverages pixel binning for low-light photography.
In terms of number-crunching, Vivo has evidently decided to outfit the X50 Pro with the Snapdragon 768 5G. This would make the Vivo X50 Pro only the second device on the market to feature that particular processor, alongside the Redmi K30 5G Speed Edition.
The Snapdragon 768 5G features an Adreno 620 GPU, clocked higher than the one found in the Snapdragon 765G. This mean that the Vivo X50 Pro may deliver great gaming performance in titles like PUBG, alongside a premium camera experience.
