Alex Alderson,

Honor has announced a host of smart devices. Launched alongside the MagicBook Pro 2020 and ViewPad 6, the smart devices will also be making their way to HiHonor, Honor's eCommerce platform. All falling under Honor's "smart life ecosystem", the smart devices range from a vacuum to a kettle and an ultra-sonic toothbrush.

Honor Router 3

The Honor Router 3 is the first Honor router to adopt Wi-Fi 6 connectivity and is based on a Gigahome dual-core processor capable of running at 1.2 GHz. Honor promises that the Router 3 can achieve up to 3,000 Mbps throughput across one 2.4 GHz band and one 5 GHz band. The Honor Router 3 also supports OFDMA multi-user technology for direct connections with multiple devices that should minimise latency. The Honor Router 3 will be available in numerous countries from July, 2020.

Honor Vision X1 series

Available in three sizes, the Vision X1 series are 4K TVs based on the Honghu 818 Smart TV processor. The TVs support 8K 30 FPS decoding four 10 W speakers and ships with Hongmeng OS 1.0. The Vision X1 series is available in 50-inch, 55-inch and 65-inch display sizes. The latter two will go on sale in China on May 25 for CNY 2,229 (~US$314) and CNY 3,299 (~US$454), but Honor is yet to confirm the price of the 50-inch model. Similarly, the company is yet to announce international availability or pricing.

Honor Earbuds X1

Seemingly a more premium version of the Magic Earbuds, the Earbuds X1 offers up to 24-hours battery life. Featuring dual-microphones, the Earbuds X1 can reduce environmental noise during calls or while listening to music. Powered by a new binaural synchronous transmission technology, the Earbuds X1 can also operate at "low latency to ensure a lag-free experience".

Honor Smart Vacuum

A lightweight and versatile vacuum, the Honor Smart Vacuum has a 350 W motor that can spin at up to 100,000 RPM. Honor promises up to 65 minutes battery life between charges and claims to have included features like an ultraviolet-sterilisation cleansing system, which effectively eliminates bacteria on different surfaces.

Honor Air Multiplier

The Honor Air Multiplier features a slim silver chassis that can fit into most rooms without obstructing furniture. Featuring bladeless turbocharging technology, Honor has designed the Air Multiplier to distribute airflow consistently to keep a room at a desired temperature.

Honor Humidifier

With a three-litre tank and 400 ml/h humidity capacity, Honor claims that its Humidifier is perfect for bedrooms, offices and medium-sized rooms. The top-mounted clear tank makes it easy to identify water levels, allowing you to keep track of when you need to refill it. The Humidifier features an anti-bacterial design too, which Honor claims will reduce the growth of bacteria.

Honor Smart Desk Lamp

The Honor Smart Desk Lamp can cover up to a 1.12 m area in diameter and features TÜV Eye Comfort Certification. According to Honor, the Smart Desk Lamp can emit far less blue light than competing lamps to create a "calm work environment".

Honor Smart Ultra-Sonic Toothbrush

The Honor Smart Ultra-Sonic Toothbrush features a curved design, with Honor promising up to 30 days use between charges. Honor has provided brushing guides on HiLink, too.

Honor Smart Kettle

Powered by an 1800 W heat source, the Smart Kettle can be set to boil remotely using HiLink. The Smart Kettle features temperature controls too and can dechlorinate water.
