Honor's Play series of phones gets even more budget with a new 4T SKU
The Play 4T is a new low-end phone from the Huawei sub-brand Honor. It has a 6.39-inch display with a resolution of 1560x720, a 4000mAh battery that charges at just 10 watts (W) and the aging Kirin 710A processor. It also has 48+2MP rear cameras, which is where high-end dual punch-holes just might get to in the next few years.
Saying that, the 4T has an 8MP in-display selfie camera of its own. It also has 6GB of RAM, which was paired to a single 128GB storage option for 1199 yuan (~US$169) at launch. Now, however, Honor has quietly added a second SKU to this ultra-budget phone.
This one goes down to half this original storage (although the phone does also support up to 512GB of additional external space). It is now priced at 1099 yuan (~$155), and comes in the same Magic Black, Blue Water Emerald or Blue Aurora shades as the original "top-end" Play 4T.
