Rumor | The Honor Play 4T Pro is a new smartphone with the Kirin 810 SoC and a 4000mAh battery
A Weibo leaker claims that Honor will soon launch a new Play-series smartphone called the 4T Pro. It is thought to have the Kirin 810 processor and to have a display of about 6.3 inches in diagonal length. It may also have triple rear cameras and 22.5-watt (W) charging.
Fans of Honor's Play line of mobile devices may have been underwhelmed by its latest addition, the 9a. However, its next release is now rumored to be a higher-end, more powerful smartphone. The leaker Digital Chat Station alleges that it will be called the 4T Pro.
This device may have a 6.39-inch LCD screen with an in-display fingerprint sensor. It may be powered by the Kirin 810, which, despite now having a brand-new 5G-enabled successor, remains an effective mid-range chipset. The "4T Pro" is also thought to have a 4000mAh battery with a 22.5W power brick.
This phone is projected to have 48+8+2MP rear cameras. It may also have a non-Pro variant with a rear-facing fingerprint sensor. Should this new leak prove valid, it may be that the Play series may gain a true flagship in 2020 after all.

I became a professional writer and editor shortly after graduation. My degrees are in biomedical sciences; however, they led to some experience in the biotech area, which convinced me of its potential to revolutionize our health, environment and lives in general. This developed into an all-consuming interest in more aspects of tech over time: I can never write enough on the latest electronics, gadgets and innovations. My other interests include imaging, astronomy, and streaming all the things. Oh, and coffee.
