Poco M3 design and specifications leak ahead of November 24 launch, but it may be another Xiaomi re-brand
91Mobiles and Ishan Agarwal have leaked the design and several specifications of the Poco M3 ahead of its global launch on November 24. The Poco M3 will be available in black, blue and yellow, as the photo above demonstrates, although all colours will have the same black camera housing spanning the width of the back panel.
The latter is punctuated by three rear-facing cameras and an LED flash, which Poco has complemented with a single front-facing sensor. The selfie camera sits behind a waterdrop notch that cuts slightly into the device's 6.53-inch display. According to 91Mobiles, the display will conform to an FHD resolution, which means that it will be slightly taller than 1,920 pixels.
A Snapdragon 662 chipset and 4 GB of RAM will power the Poco M3, as will a 6,000 mAh battery. There will be a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, too.
The M3 may not be an original Poco smartphone as the F1 was, though. Instead, the M3 looks like a Redmi handset that recently passed through the TENAA in China. The two devices share the same design, including a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and waterdrop notch. It is unclear whether the device certified by the TENAA is the Redmi 10 or Redmi Note 10 4G, but it bears an uncanny resemblance to the Poco M3.
