Xiaomi does like to overcomplicate its product line, doesn't it? The Chinese company has already released multiple smartphones under the Redmi Note 9 brand, from the regular model to the likes of the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max and the two versions of the Redmi Note 9 Pro. Now, it has announced that it will be announcing more Redmi Note 9 handsets. The announcement will happen on November 26, according to a Weibo post.
These new devices may be the Redmi Note 9 4G, Redmi Note 9 5G and Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G, which have appeared at the TENAA in the last few weeks. From what we can tell, Xiaomi has adapted the design of the Mi 10T Lite, so these devices may not see a release outside of China.
Xiaomi is yet to reveal any specifications of its new Redmi Note 9 devices, but one is expected to come with a Snapdragon 750G chipset, like the Mi 10T Lite. Additionally, another will have the MediaTek Dimensity 800U. The new Redmi Note 9 series may start at just CNY 1,000 (~US$151) too, with the Redmi Note 9 Pro coming in at CNY 1,500 (~US$226).
