Xiaomi Mi 10 gets Android 11-based MIUI 12.2.2.0 update
The Mi 10 is a very popular flagship handset not only because it offers a lot of phone for the price like most of Xiaomi's devices, but also because it sports a 90 Hz display with a touch sampling rate of 180 Hz and the best color accuracy in the brand's entire portfolio. However, it seems that the owners of this device have had to face a few software-related problems lately.
Last week, the Android 11-based stable software update to MIUI 12.2.2.0.RJBCNXM began its rollout but Xiaomi apparently discovered some bugs after issuing the patch, so they decided to stop the entire process. Now, the massive 3.6 GB software update is rolling out once again.
In addition to the regular Android 11 changes that come from Google and the October security patch, the update also included MIUI-exclusive features, such as camera VLOG, AI watermark, Virtual Identity, Frame Rate Monitor, and Super Document.
As usual, the users are advised to back up all sensitive data prior to applying the update. Obviously, going from Android 10 to Android 11 will take some time, so a full battery, a fast data connection, and plenty of patience are also needed. If you are one of those who already installed the update, feel free to share your thoughts with the rest of us in the comments section.
