Xiaomi is seemingly keeping to its promise of finishing the MIUI 12 rollout for the Redmi Note 9 Pro (joyeuse) by the end of the month. The company already finalised V12.0.1.0.QJZMIXM for the global edition of the device this week, and now it has done the same for the European variant. Devices enrolled on the European branch of MIUI were the only ones to have not received MIUI 12 in any form, but the new build for the variant changes that.
Starting today, V12.0.1.0.QJZEUXM will be hitting Redmi Note 9 Pro handsets enrolled on the European branch of MIUI as an over-the-air (OTA) download. The download links for the OTA and recovery ROM files have already been posted online and can be found below. However, Adimorah Blog and Xiaomi Firmware Updater currently mark V12.0.1.0.QJZEUXM as a Stable Beta update, meaning that it will only reach a select number of handsets for the time being. Xiaomi does this is a part of its final round of testing, and it is usually an indication that an unrestricted stable build is a few days to a week away from arriving.
Meanwhile, the global MIUI 12 update for the Redmi Note 8 will be ready for all devices in December, according to the Mi Tech Team. Xiaomi began upgrading the global version of the device to MIUI 12 last month, but an issue prevented it from being presented for those running V11.0.11.0.QCOMIXM. Originally, Xiaomi had advised people to 'please wait patiently and try to update later', but the fixed OTA has now been pushed to December.
