The realme 6i is a good competition for the same price that comes with a 90Hz screen and offers a better gaming experience. The Samsung Galaxy M21 is another good option that also offers good battery life and comes an AMOLED screen.

Overall, the Poco M2 Pro is a well-packaged phone. This phone is ideal for those looking for a smartphone under Rs 15,000 (base variant) that offers decent performance and great battery life, captures stunning pictures in most lighting conditions, and looks unique. Oh, it is also for people tired of ads.

The Poco M2 Pro is the company's take on the Redmi Note 9 Pro with amped-up charging and an ad-free experience. Sure, the phone is a play on an existing formula but the end result is a better product for the buyer and there's little to complain about that.

However, the reality is that Poco fans are not your average smartphone users. Spoilt by the excesses of the Poco X2 Pro and the original Poco F1, many Poco fans may feel a little underwhelmed by the Poco M2 Pro. Some may even be left disappointed with the Poco M2 Pro sharing so much in design and hardware with the Redmi Note 9 Pro. And at the end of the day, this comparison more than anything else, may just end up being the biggest headache for the new Poco phone, which in isolation is quite good a phone for then price point that it starts retail for.

If you are too confused with so many options in the budget smartphone range and looking for a no-frills handset at around Rs 15,000 which offers good display, battery life, dual SIM 4G support, decent cameras and good looks, then the Poco M2 Pro makes good sense. It’s an all-rounder for daily usage and will not disappoint. Other options include Redmi Note 9 Pro, Realme 6 Pro, Samsung Galaxy M21 and Galaxy M30s.

I think the Poco M2 Pro is a good addition to the sub-Rs. 15,000 smartphone segment, and I have no trouble recommending it. In a lot of ways, you could think of it as a Redmi Note 9 Pro (Review) with quicker charging at a similar price. Plus, it should be a lot easier to buy compared to Xiaomi's flash sale system. The M2 Pro offers good build quality, a sharp display, solid battery life, and good performance. The cameras are not too bad either, provided you're shooting during the day.

It is a small display format for smartphones. You shouldn't be severely defective in vision, and you won't see much detail on the screen and only have a small resolution available. For that, the device should be small and handy, easy to transport.

76.67%: This rating is not earth-shattering. This rating must actually be seen as average, since there are about as many devices with worse ratings as better ones. A purchase recommendation can only be seen with a lot of goodwill, unless it is about websites that generally rate strictly.
