Reviews for the Samsung Galaxy M51
The Samsung Galaxy M51 is a large mid-range smartphone with a huge 7000-mAh battery. Interestingly, it still does not appear too bulky. So is this a hot tip for those who like a long battery life?
Source: DxOMark

The Samsung Galaxy M51 comes with a “monster” 7000 mAh battery that outperforms the competition for both autonomy and efficiency. Where it falls down a little is in charging, where it takes nearly 2.5 hours to go from empty to a full charge — almost an hour longer than the Huawei P40 Lite (with its faster charger). Still, its overall performance is currently the best in our Battery database, promising and delivering excellent battery life whether lightly or intensively used.

With a price of P19,990 (8GB+128GB) playing viral games like Genshin Impact and Wildrift is fun and enjoyable, it has the power to perform in 1080p gaming. The power efficiency of the screen and the chipset are the perfect combo to run by a large battery. This means that it will provide extra long-term use even more.

The Galaxy M51 is here to cater to those with an obvious top priority - battery life. It doesn't neglect the other aspects that make a good phone, however, and brings solid camera performance and a good AMOLED display - a staple for Galaxies, plus a complete set of the little things.

Overall, the Galaxy M51, is good mid-range smartphone from Samsung in the M series. It has good cameras, brilliant Infinity-O AMOLED display and whopping 7000mAh battery with 25W fast charging. No Glass back, lack of splash-resistant body and some software features like Samsung Pay and Knox security are few things that needs to be compromised.

For PHP 19,990, the Samsung Galaxy M51 is not the flashiest smartphone in the market today. However, it still offers a lot that you might really consider, especially if you’re focused on buying a Samsung smartphone.

The Samsung Galaxy M51 is a bang for a buck. This is everything you need from a mid-range device that costs Rs.25,000. It has a stunning Super AMOLED Plus display and a massive 7000 mAh battery which none of the rivals are offering right now. In addition to this, Samsung has gone for Snapdragon 730G this time and thanks to that you get a major performance boost when compared to other mid-range devices by Samsung that comes with the Exynos chip.

Samsung Galaxy M 51 at starting price of Rs 24,999 is a smartphone worth buying if you want a great display, amazing camera, humongous battery and smooth performance. The only thing which I feel could have been better is the speaker output.

While you’ll undoubtedly be looking at the Samsung Galaxy M51 because of its massive 7000mAh battery, the phone has a lot of other things to offer. The phone has enough performance, and battery, under the hood to sustain extended gaming sessions, and has the camera pedigree to satisfy camera nerds as well. if everything goes well in our full review, it looks like Samsung has a solid mid-range contender with their new phone.

Priced at Rs 24,999 for the base 6GB RAM variant, the Galaxy M51 is an all-rounder that the Samsung M series needed in 2020. It might not have the best design but it is a solid smartphone with a compact form factor, which is a big deal, considering that it has a mammoth 7,000 mAh battery and a 6.7-inch display. The Samsung Galaxy M51 is an obvious choice if you are in the market for a midrange smartphone from a reputable brand. However, if you are not averse to Chinese brands like Realme, OPPO and OnePlus, there are smartphones like the Realme 7 Pro (review), OPPO F17 Pro (review) and OnePlus Nord (review) which you might like to check before finalising your pick.

With a 6.7-inch sAMOLED screen, Snapdragon 730G processor, 7000mAh battery, and capable quad cameras for Rs 24,999, the Samsung Galaxy M51 is definitely the most complete Android smartphone you can find in the mid-range segment. It’s exciting to see that Samsung is focusing on features that really matter to consumers at the end of the day like a bigger battery and display. I think the Galaxy M51 will appeal to everyone.

On the hardware front, the Galaxy M51 is splendid and easily replaces the Galaxy A71, which was already an excellent phone, as the best upper mid-range device available from Samsung. The monstrous battery life makes it even better than the A71, in fact, and if the spec sheet is all that matters to you and the Galaxy M51 fits your budget, you can buy it with your eyes closed. You won’t regret it.

With the Samsung Galaxy M51, the Galaxy M series now caters to a much wider range of prices. I am sure the Galaxy M51 has grabbed a lot of attention because of its big 7,000mAh battery, and it really does deliver very good battery life. The Snapdragon 730G SoC also offers good performance and will keep people happy at this price point.

As far as the processor is concerned, the Galaxy M51 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 processor and runs on One UI based on Android 10. The smartphone comes with 6 GB of RAM along with 128 GB of built-in storage that can be expanded by up to 512 GB via a microSD card. As for the camera, this device carries a quad-camera set-up with a 64MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture, followed by a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens (123 degrees) with f/2.2 aperture, a 5MP depth sensor, and a 5MP macro lens. In addition, it is worth noting that the rear camera setup has autofocus. On the other side, there is a centre-mounted punch-hole cut out 32MP selfie shooter. The phone also has a bunch of shooting modes such as Live focus, background blur for selfies and many more for users to explore.
It has always been known that the battery capacity and battery life are a plus point of the M series. Having said that, it is undeniable that Samsung is taking that to the next level with the Galaxy M51. This device has been equipped with a massive 7,000mAh battery. This is definitely a great jump from the M-series’ standard 6,000mAh capacity, and it is certainly much bigger than what all of Samsung’s flagships released this year carry. In terms of its charging front, the smartphone comes with support for 25W fast-charging technology via a Type-C interface. The large battery definitely creates a premium user experience with extended longevity and reduced frequent recharging.
In terms of its connectivity options, the Samsung Galaxy M51 comes with Bluetooth v5.00 and also a single USB Type-C port. The sensors on the phone include an accelerometer, an ambient light sensor, a compass/magnetometer, a gyroscope and a proximity sensor. Overall, the Samsung Galaxy M51 is definitely a great phone to be explored, but the choice of owning one depends on the choice and need of the users.
