So all that package is inside this upper-midrange smartphone. We were surprised when we first had the first impression on this device. Vloggers will totally love it. Mobile Filmmakers will surely get an eye on this device. And that is why some communities ask why this phone is a bit costly. Well for the price of P16,990 you will get a versatile camera feature, a gaming-centric chip for FHD+ display, and a 90Hz refresh rate. Price over specs is an all-rounder check in this device.

The Realme 6 Pro is an excellent device for a particular type of person, specifically someone who values extra camera features and a slightly more premium feel. For PHP16,990, PHP3,000 more than the 8GB RAM variant of the Realme 6, you’re getting an additional rear telephoto and front ultrawide cameras, a more premium glass back panel, and a different chipset that performs almost the same as the Realme 6’s chipset.

For the price of RM1,399, I think the price is way too steep for what it has to offer. For me, between the realme 6 Pro and the realme 6, it’s better to get the realme 6 instead. We reviewed the realme 6 here – and it’s a much better deal overall.

realme seems to be aspiring for a higher price segment that the realme XT occupied previously with the realme 6 Pro. While I don’t see anything wrong with that, the competition in this segment has also evolved, and the steep price of the realme 6 Pro doesn’t exactly help it stand out. For RM1399, you can easily score a variety of last-gen flagships, which makes the realme 6 Pro look all the more out of place. If what you want is a current-gen mid-range, you can get the same camera and chipset combination for quite a lot less, albeit without the 90 Hz display. Is a 90 Hz refresh rate worth the premium to you even though it only works in selected apps? Well, that’s up to you to decide.

The Realme 6 Pro offers flagship-level specs like a 90Hz display and a smattering of cameras across the front and rear on a budget, but with an £80 difference between it and the standard model, Realme's biggest competition is itself.

The Realme 6 Pro looks to offer flagship-level specs like a 90Hz display and a smattering of cameras across the front and rear on a budget, but without a confirmed UK price, we can't deliver a full verdict and star rating just yet.

The Realme 6 Pro pairs a competent Snapdragon 720G processor with a versatile set of cameras and a pair of really good selfie shooters. The phone looks and feels fantastic in the hand, and with a bit of software optimization for the rear cameras, the Realme 6 Pro could be the mid-ranger to beat.

The Realme 6 Pro comes across as a well-rounded device with the right mix of hardware that adheres to the latest market trends. The Realme 6 was already a competent package, and the Pro builds on that. It adds a telephoto camera on the back, which is unmatched in the segment, as it the ultra-wide selfie shooter. Beyond the mere hardware, the phone takes superior pictures too, some of the better ones for the money.

Last year’s realme 5 Pro was a value-for-money (VFM) phone, and it even got better after the price cut, however the realme 6 Pro that starts at Rs. 16999, which is slightly costly. 90Hz is a good thing, and the phone offers brilliant battery life along with 30W charger in the box, which is a good deal, but the company’s own realme X2 with an AMOLED screen and Snapdragon 730G is available for the same price. There are also several other competing smartphones for the same price. Wish the phone was slightly cheaper.

Realme is making it quite hard for fans to choose the right phone, with so many launches within a short span of time. While the Realme 6 is a no-brainer, the Realme 6 Pro isn't so clear-cut, especially its top-end variant, as the Realme X2 is priced just a little bit higher. The 6 Pro and the X2 have very similar features, camera capabilities and performance, and the only really differentiating factors are their design and displays.

After a very long time I have personally liked a Realme phone. The Realme 6 Pro is a good overall package that offer almost everything that one would want from an under Rs 20,000 phone. It looks great, offers powerful performance, clicks stunning pictures in almost all lightning situations, and delivers long lasting battery life. At Rs 16,999 the Realme 6 Pro should definitely be your choice if looking for a phone under Rs 20,000.

Is it the successor of the Realme 5 Pro, as its name indicates? Or of the Realme X, as Realme itself says? Well, forget the name, the Realme 6 Pro is a formidable addition to the already competitive mid-segment of the Indian smartphone market. Check our conversational review!

Despite our wavering, it's hard not to remark the excellent value this phone provides. For less than INR 20,000, you are getting more than adequate chipset, a big screen with 90Hz refresh rate, flagship-grade fast charging, semi-premium build, big battery, and a camera setup that covers all focal lengths. Stay tuned for our full review.

It is a small display format for smartphones. You shouldn't be severely defective in vision, and you won't see much detail on the screen and only have a small resolution available. For that, the device should be small and handy, easy to transport.
» To find out how fine a display is, see our DPI List.82.2%: This rating is slightly above average, there are somewhat more devices with worse ratings. However, clear purchase recommendations look different.
