72% OPPO Realme 1 review: Pretty good, really cheap!
Source: Android Authority English
The Realme 1 is a cheap feeling device and the polygonal rear pattern only goes so far to make up for that. But when you consider the price, the performance and features are pretty impressive indeed. This is a contender for the best truly low-budget option right now.

Looks like a excellent buy for under Rs. 10,000. The 3GB/32GB is more than enough, I think the price is really good, the 6GB version is kind of pricey, moreover you get a separate micro SD card slot. There are many reviewers complaining about RAM management on the 3GB version, there is no such issues. The hardware is optimized, some apps will restart if you keep running those in background, specially games. I guess that can be fixed via OS update. But this is done to improve the performance of the handset, give user a fluid experience on 3GB. For many users this will hardly matter, as not all are gaming users.

Just like the original Moto G, the Realme 1 is meant to shake things up, to challenge and mostly to leave a lasting impression on users. Whether or not such marketing is sustainable and can be effective on today's overcrowded smartphone scene is a worthwhile discussion, but one for a different time altogether.

The Realme 1 is priced Rs 8,999 for the 3GB RAM, 32GB storage, Rs 10,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage and Rs 13,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage. At this price, the Realme 1 is definitely a steal deal as this is the first time a 128GB storage device is offered below Rs 15,000. Realme 1 offers great performance, stylish design, customizable UI and decent battery performance. But at the same time the Android updates is something which you don’t expect much from Oppo and also the camera performance needs a bit more improvement to compete with Redmi Note 5 Pro which is the current leader in camera.

Oppo Realme 1 is a serious challenger to the Redmi Note 5. The phone has one of the best cameras in the price range, a good processor and battery that lasts for a day. Thanks to its design, this is a phone that you can flaunt. Realme 1 is without a doubt a worth option in the sub-Rs 15,000 price range that one can consider.

The Realme 2 is a surprisingly good $120 phone
Source: CNet English
But it does have some cool features besides its design -- the Realme 2 runs Oppo's Color OS on top of Android 8.1 and comes with a virtual SIM card that lets you data roam when you're traveling overseas. The cameras also have a button for 2x zoom, but because the secondary rear camera is only just 2 megapixels (and is used as a depth sensor for portrait shots), I suspect that this 2x zoom is digital instead of an optical or telephoto zoom.

Source: India Today English
The Realme 2 is being advertised as a phone that brings what fans look for the most in a smartphone in 2018. This includes the notch, a dual camera setup and a large battery that lasts over a day. And to that effect, the Realme 2 delivers on these aspects, but in doing so, the company has also made a few tradeoffs. So you get a notched display but the resolution has now been downgraded to 720p. You get a bigger battery and dual cameras, but the chipset has been downgraded to Snapdragon 450.

The Realme 2 offers good value for money for the Rs 10,990 price tag it comes in. It’s a handy phone for someone who isn’t a power user, and looks for a device that looks good and offers a lot of features to explore. Realme, as a brand, has somewhat established itself as someone who offers a big bang for the buck. While that may be missing in terms of the spec-sheet, it more than makes up for it with an overall smoother experience because of the refined UI. The Realme 2 competes with the newly launched Redmi 6 Pro. The company is promising good after-sales service by tying up with Flipkart. Both phones, however, are being sold via flash sales. So getting your hands on one might be difficult. There is also the Realme 2 Pro right round the corner, so you might want to wait and see what comes with that. Overall, the Realme 2 shows promise, but in a competitive market like the budget segment, where every piece of hardware matters, it might just lose itself in the crowd.

60% Realme 2 review: The cheapest phone with a notch
Source: Gadget Show English
For a smartphone to succeed in a category where competition is cut-throat, it has to have a lot going for it. With the Realme 2, it has a 4230mAh battery, and that is perhaps its forte. However, when it comes to other aspects, there aren’t too many things that stand out. The design aspect is nothing out of the ordinary but at the same time it delivers reasonably adequate performance. In a nutshell, the phone at a sub-10k price range offers what most of the mid-range models are offering today. Unless you think that the notch is a “standout” feature. If we leave out the dual rear cameras shots in daylight, other camera aspects are left wanting and as such, the camera segment cannot be said to be laudable. Going by the price, if you are not a camera enthusiast and want a budget phone model with strong build and long battery life, Realme 2 would be a good choice. Otherwise there’s always Xiaomi. Or Honor. Or perhaps a few other brands.

If you can pardon Realme for its naming scheme, the Realme 2 Pro is what we wanted the Realme 2 to be. It is a fantastic step up from the Realme 1 and it reflects a brand that's gaining more confidence with each product. The Realme 2 Pro takes everything to the max as far as one can expect from a mid-range smartphone. It comes with a great waterdrop display and a powerful Snapdragon chipset. The 8GB variant seems excessive, but it's available at a segment-first price of Rs 17,990, which is a pretty great deal. However, I think it's the 4GB and 6GB variants at Rs 13,990 and 15,990, respectively, that should see the most response. The Realme 2 Pro is a no compromises phone available at some great, disruptive prices.

At Php 5,990, I would definitely say this device is a real threat to the reigning entry level king – Xiaomi’s Mi 6A. an entry-level king for its price. It’s currently the most affordable smartphone in the country that has a Snapdragon 450 chipset in it. If I were a teenager on a lookout for budget smartphone, I would definitely consider getting this device. It has a big display, gets the job done (at least for day-to-day tasks), it has decent cameras, and that “mega battery” does live up to its name.

With the Realme C1, I think a lot of people’s perception of entry-level smartphones will change. Realme wasn’t kidding around when they claim that this phone is the “entry-level king”, and honestly, it just might be. I mean at Php5,990, you’re getting a phone, an entry-level one for that matter, that feels solid, has decent cameras, and a battery life that can last for more than a day. It’s even cheaper than the OPPO A3s, so there’s that. So would I recommend it? Definitely! You get exactly what you pay for, nothing less. Realme C1 Review: Can it be the next budget King?
Source: The Mobile Indian English
The Realme C1 is surely one of the most premium-looking smartphones in the under Rs 8,000 price segment. The display looks good in indoor lighting, though the reflective nature of the screen makes it a bit difficult to read the text in broad daylight. The camera performance is a hit and miss in different lighting condition, although the performance is pretty satisfactory. The user interface still needs a lot of polishing. That said, the Realme C1 does look like an interesting smartphone and it will surely give a stiff competition to the likes of Xiaomi Redmi 6A, Infinix Smart 2 and more.

84% Realme C1 review – really में best budget friendly smartphone
Source: Gogi.in English
I don’t think for this price you will get such features in a smartphone. There are minor issues (check video review) but for Rs. 6,999 this is no doubt the best budget friendly smartphone.

Realme C1 Hands On, Quick Review: A Solid Newcomer in the Budget Segment?
Source: Unbox English
The Realme C1 will have a RP 1,499,000(~Php 5.4k). Its price is very competitive, especially since we can’t think of any other Snapdragon 450-sporting phone having a sub-Php 5.5k price. Locally, the Realme C1’s closest rival is Xiaomi’s Redmi 5 at Php 5,799 for the 2GB/16GB model. While the Redmi 5 has a fingerprint scanner, it only has a single rear camera, a smaller battery, and a smaller display, making the Realme C1’s price pretty compelling in comparison.

82% Realme U1 Review – Is it the 1 for U?
Source: Tech PP English
Starting at Rs. 11,999 for the 3+32GB variant, the Realme U1 has its raw performance going for it along with its selfie-taking capabilities, but it falls short in terms of the rear cameras and user experience. For Rs. 1,000 more, the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 offers a chipset of equal caliber, better cameras, a humongous 5000mAh battery and stock android which provides a much better overall experience. If you can get used to the UI and compromise on the rear camera quality, the Realme U1 is a solid performer, and also a great example that MediaTek can produce chipsets that go head to head with those from Qualcomm.

80% Realme U1 Review: Camera And Design Give It An Edge But Redmi Note 6 Pro Still On Top
Source: Tech2 English
The Realme U1 is great for those looking to buy a well-designed phone which offers good performance, good selfies and is fine with some average battery life. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro performs at par with the U1 but takes the cake thanks to its better performance when it comes to clicking good photographs even when the light is low — something where the Realme U1, as well as the Honor 8C, are way behind.

80% Realme U1 review: A phone that offers more than just good selfies
Source: India Today English
The Realme U1 marks the debut of a brand new series from Realme. The company has had a great start and wants to close the year on a high note with the selfie-centric U1. The phone promises a few unique features, much like past Realme phones. The 25MP selfie camera and Helio P70 chipset are the biggest highlights here, and they don't disappoint. The added bonus is that you also get a phone that looks great, with a display that is probably one of the best in this segment.

80% Realme U1 review: At Rs 11,999, a stylish option in the budget segment
Source: The Indian Express English
There’s no doubt that Realme U1 is a direct competitor to the newly launched Redmi Note 6 Pro and the Honor 8X. The price of the phone, coupled with its performance and features make it a viable alternative to the Xiaomi device, which tends to generate a lot of hype. This is a promising phone with little flaws. For those who are not hesitant to try out a new brand and want a good selfie camera at a budget, Realme U1 does live up to the claim.

A very good buy this Realme U1, camera quality is excellent but when you compare that with Redmi Note 6 Pro you will like the Redmi camera better. So all depends on your usage and which parameter you want to give more weightage, accordingly you can either go with U1 or the Note 6 Pro.

If you are a Realme fan and you have 1 or 2 Pro - there is no need to switch. But if you are in the market for a new smartphone and you are on the budget, the Realme U1 is one of the best offers you can buy in India today. It has an insane bang for buck ratio, as Realme likes to make them, and impresses with design, screen, performance, and selfies. If those are the things that matter to you - look no further.

74% Realme U1 Review
Source: Think Digit English
The Realme U1 is a real mixed bag of a smartphone. While the MediaTek Helio P70 chipset that powers it allows the phone to breeeze through most daily tasks, it does falter when it comes to heavy gaming. The camera performance is impressive, but does not offer any customisation options. The battery life is good enough to get you through the day. The Realme U1 is a decent phone, but the 4GB variant will struggle eventually.

The Realme U1 misses out a few things like video stabilisation, and the low-light performance of its front as well as rear cameras is average at best. On the other hand, it does have many upsides such as a powerful processor, good battery life, a sharp display, and nice aesthetics. It also takes good pictures in daylight, which makes it worth recommending.
