Oppo Reno15 Pro Max 5G review: Mid-range goodness

The Oppo Reno15 Pro Max adds a Max moniker to its name, and packs all sorts of cool camera and AI features. From the 3.5x telephoto rear cameras that goes up to 120x digital zoom to the 0.6x ultra-wide front selfie, Oppo has made this phone perfect for people who just want to capture their lives with their phones.

The AI features also complement the camera features, with AI being used to bring out shadowed details in photos, removing objects even from Motion Photos (though I couldn't seem to find the feature yet) to stabilised video shots for smooth panning without a gimbal. I'm still testing these out, but here are my quick impressions.

ARM Mali-G720 MP7: High-end graphics chip for smartphones with 7 of the 16 possible cores. Based on the new "5th Gen" architecture (successor to Valhall) including Variable Rate Shading (VRS) and Ray Racing. Compared to the G715, 15% higher performance should be possible at the same clock rates.
Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.
