Upcoming Realme 7 Pro aims squarely at the Redmi Note 9 Pro with a Snapdragon 720G
Realme is poised to release an entire batch of phones next month. Leading the line will be the Realme X7 Pro and its MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ aimed at the Redmi K30 Ultra. Under that will then be the Realme X7 featuring the new MediaTek Dimensity 800U. A step below that will be the Realme 7 Pro, and details of the phone have now leaked.
Just like how the Reame X7 Pro is positioned against the Redmi K30 Ultra, the Realme 7 Pro will take the ring versus the Redmi Note 9 Pro. The Realme device will be powered by a Snapdragon 720G, the same chipset on the Redmi Note 9 Pro.
Alongside the Snapdragon 720G will be 8 GB of RAM, although the phone will likely have a cheaper 6 GB model. Earlier reports in mind, the Realme 7 Pro will is expected to offer a 90 Hz LCD, trumping the Redmi Note 9 Pro and its mundane 60 Hz panel.
A 5000 mAh battery is expected, with Realme's 65 W SuperDart Charge also outperforming the 33 W charging on the Redmi Note 9 Pro. At the back of the phone will be a quad-camera setup comprised of a 64 MP main camera, an ultra-wide-angle lens, a macro lens, and a portrait lens.
