Realme kicked the new Narzo series of phones off in India with the 10, followed soon after by the 20 series, in 2020. Now, it is currently ramping up to their successors' launch by allowing its fans to choose between retail packaging options for one of them.
This phone is to be called the Narzo 30 - however, there is now evidence that there will be a 30 Pro as well. It comes via a new entry on the TENAA database for a Realme RMX3161. As the 20 Pro is also known as the RMX2161, the new model is now said to be a direct upgrade for this phone.
TENAA has also revealed that this putative Narzo 30 Pro has a 6.5-inch display and a 4,880mAh battery. It also has a 2x2 rear camera hump, although not all of its cut-outs may be served with working lenses in this model. Its new images indicate a black colorway (complete with a helping of Realme's increasingly pervasive branding), although there may yet be others.
Meanwhile, a new SIRIM approval for a Realme RMX3171 might have turned up the actual vanilla 30, or possibly the 30A. Further certifications for the C21 smartphone, Buds Q2 and Air 2 suggest that this phone might launch alongside these devices in Malaysia soon.
