The Realme Watch has been thoroughly embraced by fans, and it has sold particularly well in India. The handy smartwatch will soon be available for sale and delivery in Europe, so the latest firmware update 81 has arrived just in time, as it features multiple UI language support. The newly included languages are French, German, Italian, Spanish, Polish, Russian, and Ukrainian, with English already being an option for Realme Watch owners.
So now Realme has made its Watch more accessible to potential European users, it has also fixed a much-complained about issue: Notification storage. Previously, the Realme Watch simply displayed the most recent notification, pushing previous messages off the 1.4-inch color touchscreen and not storing them anywhere that was quickly accessible. The over-the-air (OTA) firmware update, once installed, will enable users to browse through their last 10 notifications via a functional drop-down list.
Along with the language and notification system updates, the update v.81 also brings the ability to quickly turn off the screen, battery life optimizations, manually disabling/enabling Do Not Disturb, and various bug fixes. An enhanced interface gives the Realme Watch user more detailed information during the charging process and there are improvements for the heart-rate sensor and blood-oxygen level monitor, too. The Realme Watch is priced from €54.99/£49.99/₹3,999 (approximately US$52-US$62), and it will be available to purchase soon (Europe – June 22; India – June 23).
