Multiple sources have detailed the Edge 50 Neo, a new option in the Edge 50 series after the releases of the Edge 50 Fusion, Edge 50 Pro and Edge 50 Ultra earlier this year. Incidentally, it seems that Motorola will also soon offer the Edge 50 5G with which the Edge 50 Neo may share a few hardware elements.
For example, both smartphones are expected to rely upon the MediaTek Dimensity 7300, a version of which Motorola already offers in the Razr 50 (curr. $699.99 on Amazon). Additionally, the Edge 50 Neo is anticipated to feature 50 MP primary, 32 MP front-facing, 13 MP ultra-wide-angle and 10 MP telephoto cameras, just like the Edge 50 5G. Likewise, these cameras will provide 13 mm to 73 mm equivalent focal lengths with optical image stabilisation (OIS) for its probable 25 mm primary camera.
However, the Edge 50 Neo would be the first model in the Edge 50 series to feature a flat display, which is said to measure 6.5-inches across. Nonetheless, the display will rely on pOLED technology while outputting at 120 Hz, in another similarity with the Edge 50 5G. Currently, it is unclear when Motorola will unveil the Edge 50 Neo. With that being said, @passionategeekz's recent claim that Motorola is seeking to clamp down on Edge 50 Neo leaks implies that the device is close to receiving an official release.
