Leaker reveals Google Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro XL in official images
Google will host its next hardware launch event in a few weeks time. For context, the company's August 13 event will be the first time it presents new flagships during the summer. In the process, it has got the jump on Apple, which is expected to unveil the iPhone 16 series in September.
While few concrete details about the iPhone 16 series have emerged yet, plenty is already known about the Pixel 9 series. In recent days, Google has attempted to direct attention away from leaks by publishing official teasers, including 22 reasons why one should switch to a Pixel 9 Pro. Nonetheless, leakers are still finding new tidbits about the Pixel 9 series.
Specifically, Sudhanshu Ambhore has now provided two official press images of the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro XL. For reference, the latter will replace the Pixel 8 Pro (curr. $749 on Amazon), not the smaller Pixel 9 Pro. Currently, only the entry-level Pixel 9 is rumoured to arrive in the pink finish shown above and below, which may launch as 'Cosmo'. Conversely, Porcelain should be available across the entire Pixel 9 series, including the Pixel 9 Pro Fold.
