Huawei Nova-series foldable smartphone tipped for imminent launch
Huawei's Nova 13 series might have been scheduled to launch as upgraded mid-range smartphones for the Chinese market some time soon - but no longer, according to noted leaker Digital Chat Station. Then again, the often sub-flagship series might have something even more interesting to show for itself soon.
The well-respected leaker has also now made reference to a "Nova small folding" device, thereby strongly hinting that Huawei's next HarmonyOS clamshell smartphone will debut under new branding.
The tip suggests that it will be a direct successor to the Pocket S nonetheless, a less elaborate version of the P50 Pocket that debuted at the less premium price of 5,998 yuan (~$825). The Nova version of the device is provisionally slated to debut as early as August 2024, although there are no indications as to how it will look or function to date.
Meanwhile, the Motorola Razr 2023 now goes for as little as $329.97 on Amazon (albeit in Sage Green only) right now.
