Google Pixel 9 Pro and 9 Pro Fold promo images leaked, revealing specs, features and design ahead of launch
We've been swimming in a sea of Pixel 9 leaks lately (the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL was just shown in a comparison video with Pixel 8 Pro), with this new one being particularly important. Leaked marketing materials, potentially the most accurate ones yet, have surfaced, courtesy of @OnLeaks. The promo images give us a detailed look at the design, specifications, and features - basically the whole deal - of the upcoming Google Pixel 9 series.
The Pixel 9 devices will have glossy sides, contrasting with a soft, matte back panel. The camera island juts out noticeably from the back. Color options include Obsidian, Porcelain, Light Pink, and Hazel. Around the same time of the 91Mobiles leak, @OnLeaks and Android Headlines also published the Pixel 9 Pro renders in all 4 aforementioned colors.

Details here
As per the leak, the Pixel 9 will feature a dual-camera system with a 50MP wide camera and a 48MP ultrawide sensor. The Pixel 9 Pro and XL variant will sport a triple-camera system with a 50MP main camera, a 48MP ultrawide sensor, and an additional 48MP telephoto sensor. The Pixel 9 Pro Fold also features a triple-camera system, but with slightly lower resolution sensors: a 48MP main camera, a 10.5MP ultrawide sensor, and a 10.8MP telephoto sensor. Front camera resolutions also seem to vary, with the Pixel 9 sporting a 10.5MP sensor, the Pro/XL models with a 42MP sensor, and the Pro Fold featuring a 10MP sensor.
The leaked info also showcases display variants across the Pixel 9 lineup. The Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro will have a smaller 6.3-inch Actua display, while the Pixel 9 Pro XL will have a large 6.8-inch Super Actua display. The Pixel 9 Pro Fold will have a dual-display setup with a 6.3-inch Actua front display (cover screen) and an bigger 8-inch Super Actua Flex display (inner screen). All four phones in the Pixel 9 series will be powered by the latest Tensor G4 chipset. RAM options are said to range from 12GB for the Pixel 9 to 16GB for the Pro variants.
In the promo images, Pixel 9 series is being marketed as "engineered by Google and designed for AI". Users will get 7 years of security updates and Pixel Drops, emergency SOS, enhanced security and more features. As reported previously, Pixel 9 Pro users will get 1 year of free Gemini Advanced with their devices, saving them £227. Another promo image also claims that the Pixel Pro will have a 24-hour battery.
The leak doesn't have any information on pricing, so that's one secret still in Google's tow. The Google Pixel Buds Pro 2, which will most likely drop with the Pixel 9 lineup, were also leaked recently. The last official update from the company was the Pixel 9 Pro launch date/design announcement teaser. The August 13 launch date is pretty close - in the meanwhile, let's wait and see if any more info makes it out of the rumor mill.
