Alleged Xiaomi 14T Pro pops up on Geekbench with newly released Dimensity SoC
The Xiaomi 13T series is yet to receive its successor, but given the release timelines, the new phones may not be far from now. Now, even though the company hasn't shared any information about the upcoming 14T series, the Pro variant has already popped up on Geekbench.
While the database of the benchmark tool only shows the phone's model number, an Indonesian certification previously confirmed that the model number is associated with the upcoming Xiaomi 14T series.
Per the benchmark run, the Xiaomi 14T Pro will be powered by the Dimensity 9300+, which MediaTek introduced in May this year. It's essentially a slightly upgraded version of the Dimensity 9300. As for the numbers, they are from Geekbench 4.4, so the single-core and multi-core scores aren't comparable to the benchmark results from the newer Geekbench 6 versions. You can check them out on the screenshot attached at the end.
Worth noting that the recently launched Redmi K70 Ultra is also powered by the Dimensity 9300+. However, it's currently exclusive to the Chinese market, and the Xiaomi 14T Pro could be the global version of the same phone. Even if the company decides to rebrand the K70 Ultra, the 14T Pro will likely see some camera-related changes as the upcoming series is expected to be co-engineered with Leica (16/512 GB Xiaomi 14 Ultra curr. $1,110 on Amazon).
Moreover, a recent leak has hinted that the camera configuration of the Xiaomi 14T Pro will be different than the Redmi K70 Ultra. It claimed that the back will feature a 50 MP primary, a 13 MP ultrawide, and a 50 MP telephoto. To compare, the K70 Ultra has a 50 MP primary, 8 MP ultrawide, and a 2 MP macro.
