Xiaomi has lifted the lid on the POCO M6 Plus 5G, its next POCO M6 series smartphone after the releases of the POCO M6 4G, POCO M6 5G, POCO M6 Pro and POCO M6 Pro 5G earlier this year. Allegedly a re-branded Redmi Note 13R, the POCO M6 Plus 5G will sport a 108 MP primary camera with an f/1.75 aperture, among other features.

Xiaomi is looking to expand the POCO M6 series once again, having already released the POCO M6 4G, POCO M6 5G, POCO M6 Pro (curr. $188 on Amazon) and POCO M6 Pro 5G so far. In short, the next model in the POCO M6 series will be the POCO M6 Plus 5G, which has leaked several times in the last few months.

As expected, Xiaomi plans to host an Indian-specific launch. Like the Motorola Edge 50 5G before it, the POCO M6 Plus 5G will be sold through Flipkart at first, which has already published a few images and specifications online. For now, these focus on the device's camera capabilities, as the images below show.

Ultimately, pre-release leaks suggest that the POCO M6 Plus 5G will only have one usable rear-facing camera. Flipkart and Xiaomi imply as much too by only referring to one of the device's two rear-facing cameras in their marketing materials. Supposedly, the POCO M6 Plus 5G will complement its 108 MP and f/1.75 primary camera with a 2 MP auxiliary lens, as well as a 13 MP front-facing camera. The POCO M6 Plus 5G will arrive in India on August 1; neither Flipkart nor Xiaomi have confirmed when on that day the device will be available yet, though.
