Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro camera hardware specs leak online
Xiaomi will launch the Xiaomi 14T series globally soon, with previous entries in the lineup typically debuting in September or October. Some details of the Xiaomi 14T duo have been outed in previous reports, and a new leak has now revealed camera details of both devices ahead of their arrivals.
As shared by Xiaomiui, the vanilla Xiaomi 14T will feature a 50 MP Sony IMX906 as its main camera. The IMX906 is a mid-range 1/1.56-inch CMOS sensor that has also been used on devices like the Samsung Galaxy A55 (buy on Amazon) and Honor 90 GT. The 14T's ultra-wide angle lens will sit above a 13 MP OV13B, with the 50 MP JN1 housed beneath the zoom lens.
The Xiaomi 14T Pro is more of the same, unfortunately. The more premium model maintains the OV13B and JN1 sensor for the ultra-wide and telephoto cameras respectively. It also uses the same selfie shooter—Samsung's S5KKD1. The main camera gets an upgrade, though, ditching the vanilla 14T's IMX906 for Omnivision's OV50H. The OV50H is, of course, a more capable sensor with its 1/1.3-inch size, and has been featured on devices like the Huawei Pura 70 Pro and Vivo X Fold3 Pro.
