Huawei has started selling the MatePad 11.5"S globally, roughly a month after unveiling the mid-sized tablet. For context, the MatePad 11.5"S joins several other devices that Huawei has released today, including the new MateBook X Pro and a fresh FreeClip (curr. $233.91 on Amazon) colour option. While the MateBook X Pro runs Windows, Huawei pre-installs its proprietary HarmonyOS 4.2 on the MatePad 11.5"S.
Additionally, the tablet has an 8,800 mAh battery and an undisclosed chipset. Based on our time with the tablet in May, it seems that Huawei may have included the Kirin 9000 S1 that also powers the Pura 70 and Pura 70 Pro. Moreover, its 11.5-inch tablet outputs at 2,800 x 1,840 pixels and 144 Hz with an 87% screen-to-body ratio and its 'Anti-Glare PaperMatte' finish.
At launch, the MatePad 11.5"S starts at £349.99 in the UK and €399 in the Eurozone. Alternatively, the tablet can be purchased for £449.99 or €499 with a detachable keyboard, which we have pictured below. Please note that both versions come with 8 GB of RAM, 256 of storage and a choice between grey and purple colour options. Also, Huawei will bundle all orders with a free charger until July 5 and an M-Pencil 3rd Generation stylus with keyboard SKUs. Please see Huawei's website for further details.
