OnePlus Pad 2 Chinese analog charging tech and model number revealed in new leak
OnePlus and its 'twin' brand OPPO might not release a new foldable smartphone in 2024 - however, they do intend to update its main Android tablet this year, according to some new leaks. More specs for this new slate might have been revealed in a new leak.
The OPPO OPD2404 has reportedly just been approved for sale in China by the 3C safety regulator. The new listing is believed to belong to the "Pad 3" as it specifies its charging speed.
If so, the leak seems to reveal the the tablet has a new charger, the VCB7OACH - a model number quite similar to that of other chargers sent with devices by OPPO or OnePlus for testing.
However, it supports the same 67W SuperVOOC charging tech as the Pad 2 (and OnePlus Pad), which might match reports of the next-gen tablet's largely unchanged battery capacity.
Accordingly, it seems that the only significant upgrades in the OPPO Pad 3/OnePlus Pad 2 will be that of its new screen and SoC, which would be the same as that of the OnePlus 12 (as found new on Amazon) flagship smartphone in the case of the latter.
