Samsung has given the Galaxy M35 5G its first release, under a year after announcing its predecessor (curr. $203.99 on Amazon). In short, Samsung powers the new device with its Exynos 1380 chipset, which it complements with a 6.6-inch display. In other words, the Galaxy M35 5G mirrors the Galaxy A35 5G that we reviewed earlier this year.
For reference, the Super AMOLED display inside the Galaxy M35 5G outputs at 2,340 x 1,080 pixels, 1,000 nits and with a 120 Hz refresh rate. Additionally, Samsung includes a 6,000 mAh battery that supports 25 W wired charging over USB Type-C; the Galaxy M35 5G misses out on wireless charging support altogether. Moreover, the handset offers dual SIM connectivity, although one of its two SIM card slots can be used for MicroSD card expansion if needed.
Furthermore, Samsung equips the Galaxy M35 5G with three rear-facing cameras: a 50 MP primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture and 4K/30 FPS video support, an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2 MP auxiliary camera. On top of that, a 13 MP sensor with an f/2.2 aperture handles front-facing optics. Like other recent mid-range Galaxy smartphones, the Galaxy M35 5G is slated to receive four major Android updates from Android 14 with a fifth year of Android security patch updates. Currently, the Galaxy M35 5G has only been released in Brazil, available with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, priced at BRL 2,699 (~$522).
