A few weeks ago, Android Headlines shared evidence that Xiaomi had developed the POCO M7 Pro 5G for the Indian market as '24066PC95I'. For reference, the website had previously stated Xiaomi had assigned '24066PC95I' to a device called the POCO M6. However, Gizmochina has now provided fresh information that Xiaomi is not working to deliver 24066PC95I by either of those names.
Instead, the website believes that 24066PC95I will be available as the POCO M6 Plus 5G. Seemingly, Gizmochina bases its assertion on a more recent IMEI database result, as well as 'HyperOS code'. However, the website's evidence of the latter does not show it has been screenshotted from a HyperOS code string.
Allegedly, the POCO M6 Plus could be a re-branded Redmi Note 13R that Xiaomi unveiled earlier this month. If that is the case, then the POCO M6 Plus will arrive with a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, as well as a 5,030 mAh battery, LPDDR4X RAM, UFS 2.2 flash storage and a 120 Hz IPS display. In other words, the POCO M6 Plus is likely to be a budget option that sits below the likes of the POCO M6 Pro 4G (curr. $193.50 on Amazon) in the POCO M6 series. Unfortunately, it remains to be seen when Xiaomi plans to release the POCO M6 Plus, let alone for how much.
