Redmi 13 to sport the Redmi 12's chipset as other details surface in new leak
After releasing the Redmi Note 13 series and the Redmi 13C months ago, it appears Xiaomi is now readying the standard Redmi 13 for launch. A new leak has now thrown more light on the budget smartphone, albeit also painting it as a bad upgrade option for Redmi 12 owners.
As revealed by Android Headlines, the Redmi 13 is set to be powered by the same chipset underpinning the Redmi 12—MediaTek's Helio G88. Supposedly, the budget device will be codenamed "Moon" and internally numbered as “N19A/C/E/L“. The phone is expected to launch both globally and in India, although one particular model may not offer NFC support.
In addition, the Redmi 13 looks set to be rebadged as the Poco M6 eventually. The Poco M6, with the model numbers “2404APC5FG” and 2404APC5FI“, will also launch both in India and on the global market. Both the Redmi 13 and Poco M6 are expected to launch with Android 14-based HyperOS 1.0 out of the box.
